This rhythm was from a patient whose systolic blood pressure was 80's to low 90's, SpO2 92%-93% on 5 liters/minute nasal cannula. This rhythm frequently may be generically described as supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), but it would be helpful to narrow it down to which type as the treatments vary. Sinus tachycardia we treat the cause, not the rhythm; atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter rate control and conversion; etc.
What do you think rhythm is and, given the patient's vital signs, what treatment do you anticipate?
